Work History: Mr. Sclafani began his career as a Data Center Engineer with ADP, Inc. from 1989 to 1993. He served as a Senior Facilities Engineer with Security Industry Automating Corporation from 1993 to 2001 and was a Director of Engineering Services with Hines from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Sclafani currently serves as the Director of N.E. Facilities Operations of Equinix, Inc and has been with the company since 2005.
Honors & Awards: Received Certificate of Appreciation and "Pinky" Award from Brooklyn Tech H.S. for mentoring engineering student in the design and fabrication of a remote controlled robot, which won 2nd place in national robotics competition, 1999

Career Accomplishments: Mr. Sclafani was honored by SIAC/NYSE for participating in the design and implementation team for Trading Post re-design in 1994. He received notable corporate recognition from Hines and Morgan Stanley for replacing the entire critical power infrastructure supporting their data center in 2004. In 2008, he designed and implemented a patented, customized demark cabinet solution for Equinix. Mr. Sclafani was recognized for developing a "drill" style training technique that quickly enhances engineering response and effectiveness during potential catastrophic situations.
