ABOUT BRIAN M. WALTERS
Dr. Walters has 7 years experience in healthcare. He is Director of Emergency Services at Upper Alleghany Health System and oversees the emergency department at both Bradford Regional Center and Olean General Hospital and presides as Chairman of Emergency Services meetings. He is the Attending ED Physician, working clinical shifts at both facilities. Dr. Walters initiatives include staff development, ED throughout, core measure compliance, policy and protocol development. He has served a Hospitalist, as the Regional Medical Director and Partner of Buffalo Emergency Associates and the Exigence Group since 2010 where he provides emergency, urgent care, occupational medicine wellness, dermatology and primary care services. Dr. Walters is also the Medical Director of the Cattaraugus Co. Special Response Team. He provides technical medical support to the county SRT team and oversees the program. He is quadruple Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Alternative Medical Practitioner and as a Holistic Health Practitioner. He also holds 20 certifications. Dr. Walters is a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and is a member of FACEP, DAAIM, AOA, AAO, OCA, and ABCHS. He received his D.O. in 2005 from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a lecturer, author, and has appeared on live radio and television commercials. He enjoys skiing, camping, hiking and canoeing.
