| Career Accomplishments: | As a production supervisor, Mr. Ligon led the successful effort to follow construction and start up a new adiponitrile plant for DuPont at Victoria, Texas. As a senior engineer/technology Steward, he led an integrated team effort to install and start up a dedicated specialty products refining facility for DuPont at Victoria, Texas. As the alliance operations leader, he successfully led efforts to set up and manage teams in two contractor offices to implement capital projects at all DuPont Gulf Coast sites while with DuPont Engineering in Houston. As the business process owner, Mr. Ligon led the successful development and implementation of the SAP Project System module during the SAP implementation project for DuPont Textiles & Interiors. As the Invista corporate Work Process Owner for a new Small Projects Work Process, he managed the implementation of this work process for 33 sites globally. He established and led a global network with the small project leaders at each site to share learnings and drive continuous improvement. This effort resulted in reducing small project implementation costs globally by 10%. As the project manager with Invista in Houston, Mr. Ligon led the successful implementation and startup of a major adiponitrile expansion project for Invista at Victoria, TX. This multi-million dollar project was completed within budget and on schedule. |
