Work History: After college Mr. Udd started his career in the insurance industry with Connecticut Mutual Life while studying for his CLU. He completed his studies at the University of Alaska while working with Life Insurance Company of Alaska. In 1972 he accepted a job from Anchorage Chrysler where he rapidly became top salesman and Fleet Manager. He purchased his own dealership in 1989.

Career Accomplishments: Mr. Udd spent his youth traveling throughout Africa and the world with his parents, who were Missionaries. He owns Alaska Aces Ice Hockey and donates to a variety of organizations including: Anchorage Boys & Girls Clubs, Alaska Peace Officers Association, Alaska Shrine Temple, Association of the U.S. Army, Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Alaska Jewish Community Center, Providence Hospital, Intervention Help Line, Fraternal Order of State Troopers and the Iditarod® Trail Sled Dog Race. For the past 15 years Mr. Udd has provided the Iditarod Champion a 'Winner's Truck', making the trip to Nome to hand the keys to the winner personally. He also ensures the Race officials, volunteers and veterinarians have transportation by giving them dozens of vehicles to use during the Race. He is considered a hero to those in the area.
