Ms. Rocafort was selected as Young Career Woman by the Point Pleasant Business and Professional Women's Organization in 1982. She received the NY Chapter Society of Cosmetic Chemists Service Award in 1993.In 1999, Ms. Rocafort was nominated by International Specialty Products for TWIN Award and was selected by the YWCA of Plainfield/North Plainfield, New Jersey. She has been an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) for 35 years. In 2003, Ms. Rocafort was elected as the 57th President and as a Research Fellow for the USA SCC. She has been an active member of the American Chemical Society for 44 years and has been an invited speaker and presenter at several national meetings. Ms. Rocafort has also been a Guest Lecturer at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Masters in Cosmetic Science program. She was elected a member of the Textile Research Institute Board of Trustees from 2005-2011. From 2006-2012 she was a member of the Education Committee of the ACI; Ms. Rocafort served on the Industry Advisory Board for the NCSU Research Center-The Nonwovens Institute from 2011-2013. |
