Career Accomplishments: | Mr. Day has spent over 16 years writing books and articles, lecturing and teaching genealogy, research and family history to genealogy societies, middle schools, high schools, universities, libraries and senior centers. He is known as "Mr. Library" throughout Southern California for his volunteer work and genealogy. In its 50 plus year history, Mr. Day became the first and only African American male to ever sit on the Board of Directors of the "Friends of the Long Beach Public Library." |
