Mr. Goeken has received numerous awards and commendations for his innovations and contributions to the communications industry including being elected as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Southern Illinois University in 1987. He received the "David Sarnoff" Award from The Radio Club of America in 1990 "for his establishment of air-to-ground nationwide telephone service". He was awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire in 1989. In 1992, Mr. Goeken was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and into the CRN Industry Hall of Fame in 2000. He was selected as "Best Entrepreneur" for 1991 by Business Week Magazine. |
