Work History: Captain Pinta enlisted into the military in January 1999. She served six years as an enlisted Soldier before being honorably discharged to become a commissioned officer for the IL ARNG in August 2005. She began her leadership roles with the 766th Engineer Battalion to include Platoon Leader, Maintenance Control Officer and Company Commander. She served one tour of duty overseas from 2011 to 2012 with the 111th New Mexico Army National Guard to serve as an Aide de Camp for the KFOR Brigadier General in Kosovo. Post deployment, Captain Pinta served as the S4 and later became the Battalion Training Officer for the 405th Brigade Support Battalion.
