Mr. Olson has worked at various medical centers and hospitals where he provided extensive leadership expertise, problem resolution, communications and managing relationships among competing clients and vendors. His positions have included Senior Consultant, Project Architect, Executive Director and currently, Principal, where he developed strategic business plans, managed implementation and process redesign projects, created a 60-person consulting practice and increased revenues. He began working with KMD International Group, Inc. in 2002, where he has improved efficiency, coordinated simulation testing of all information and clinical systems, developed strategic plans for a major university health system, led the replacement of a hospital-wide messaging system, directed physician transformation projects and evaluated and scoped changes required to numerous departmental systems to support a new patient tower and was instrumental in planning end-to-end integration testing of all applications. He also provided testing methodology and management for medical facilities. For the last eight years, he led his own private consulting firm dedicated to clinical systems and clinical transformation. He is currently a Partner with Entrust Healthcare which is a company specifically designed for the needs of physician practices, ambulatory care, diagnostic and surgery centers, urgent care providers and community medical centers. |
