Work History: Lt. Col. Larson formerly served as the Director of Flying Safety in the Pacific Air Force Theater and was Commander of the 518th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. He was rated a Senior, then Command Pilot. In addition to serving as a Test Pilot for the Garrett Corporation, he served as a Ground and Flight Instructor for Ohio State University. During his tenure with Ohio State, he taught aviation courses on campus and gave flight instruction at the airport, flew charters and provided transportation for various school teams and officials. Lt. Col. Larson was an instructor in the Turkish Command and Staff College, Istanbul, Turkey. He flew 42 different military airplanes including the F-86D, the F-100 and the F-102.
