Work History: Dr. Joyce joined the staff at Cleveland Clinic in January, 1993, after serving for ten years on the staff at Case Western Reserve University. He remains an Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Case Western/Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and actively teaches medical students, residents and orthopaedic surgeons. He has been with the Cleveland Clinic for over 17 years, specializing in the treatment of difficult fractures, musculoskeletal tumors and adult total joint reconstruction. He oversees musculoskeletal tissue banking and the use of bone and tendon tissues for orthopaedic cancer patients and performs metallic and tissue implants. Dr. Joyce is nationally recognized in the field of Musculoskeletal Tissue Banking and served as President, American Association of Tissue Banks, from 1997-1999.
