Ms. Banoczi played First Trumpet for the Phil Spitalny All Girl Hour of Charm where she performed in weekly, coast to coast broadcasts from 1940 to 1945. After raising her daughters, Ms. Banoczi joined the Ina Ray Hutton all-girl band in Las Vegas. She owned and managed seven radio stations with her husband. In 1987, Ms. Banoczi became Chairman of the Inland Empire for Cerebral Palsey and has served on several Boards and Committees throughout Orange County. |

Ms. Banoczi was awarded a Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame in Palm Springs, California in 2000. In 2003, she received the Jefferson Award. In 2006, Ms. Banoczi received the Republican of the Year Award for the State of California. Also in 2006, she received the City of Palm Desert's Entreprenurial ATHENA Award. She was the First Division Winner at the New England Music Festival and runner-up for Ms. Senior America in the State of California. |

Ms. Banoczi has had several years of experience in music education, fundraising and entertainment administration. She founded The Coachella Valley and Buddy Rogers Youth Symphonies in 1993 which awards more than 30 scholarships annually. Within 13 years, more than 3,000 children have participated in the Youth Symphony. She also founded The Coachella Valley Symphony Educational Outreach Program in 1995. The program expanded in 1977 with the initiation of the Beginning String Conservatory, offering free stringed-instrument instruction to elementary school students. While in the business of music, Ms. Banoczi continued to build a highly successful business which eventually included ownership and management of seven radio stations in and around Southern California where she served as President and Co-owner. |
