Mrs. Rodrigue was a U.S. Navy Nurse stationed at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland from 1972 to 1976. She then joined the West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, Louisiana as a Staff Nurse working her way up to Nurse Manager from 1977-2000. From 2001 to 2004 she held the position of Director of Rehab and Orthopaedics at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. Mrs. Rodrigue was then an Interim Nurse Manager and Director of various critical care and/or telemetry units through Nielsen Healthcare and BE Smith from 2005 to 2007 where her assignments included: Nurse Manager at St. Mary's in Grand Junction, Colorado; Director of Critical Care and Telemetry at Ottumwa Regional Healthcare Center, Ottumwa, Iowa; Chief Clinical Officer of Triumph Healthcare, LTAC, Aurora, Colorado; Director of Critical Care and Emergency Department Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Glendale, California. In 2007 she joined Glendale Adventist Medical Center as the full-time, permanent Director of Critical Care and Emergency Departments. |

In 1974, Ms. Rodrigue took the very first CCRN (Certified Critical-Care Registered Nurse) exam through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She was certified as a CCRN in 1976, as the test took two years to be corrected. In 1983, she had the honor of working with Dr. Martin "Chip" O'Neill in designing and implementing an open heart program at West Jefferson Medical Center. She became Nurse Executive-Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2006. |
