Dr. Shypula was an Associate in Clinical Medicine from 1993-1994 and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine from 1994-1999 at Columbia University in New York, New York. During that time, he was the Acting Director of the Oncology Training Program at St. Luke's Department of Medicine, St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital, New York, New York. Since 1996, Dr. Shypula has been the Director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology and the Director of the Wilentz Cancer Center at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and the Director of the Wilentz Cancer Center. In addition, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine with UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Shypula was elected President of the Medical Staff of Raritan Bay Medical Center in February of 2008. |
