Work History: Ms. Martinson was employed at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, from 2003-2004, serving as an ED Respiratory Therapist in the ICU unit and floor therapy. She wrote protocols and policy and procedures for the department. She then went to St. Anthony General Hospital in Denver, Colorado from 2004-2005, again, serving as an ICU Respiratory Therapist, ED and floor therapy. From 2006-2007, Ms. Martinson worked as Lead Respiratory Therapist at G & G Medical, Inc., Rotech, Home Oxygen, in Grand Junction, Colorado, where she oversaw the care of over 600 home oxygen patients, VA patients and others. She performed patient home visits, set up BiPAP or CPAP patients for home care, concentrator checks and delivery of oxygen tanks. Ms. Martinson began working as Lead Respiratory Therapist at St. Vincent Hospital and Home Oxygen, in Leadville, Colorado, from 2007 to the present. She is in charge of training new RTs, student RTs and provides all the necessary paperwork as well as stocking and getting any new equipment for the department. She also works in ED, Medical Surgery and Ambulance Transfer for patients needing a high level of hospital care, trains the nursing staff, EMS and doctors on BiPAP and Ventilator Management. She also writes protocols and policy and procedures for the Respiratory Therapy Department. She recently passed the NBRC Boards in January of 2009.

The event was highlighted by a visit from the Flight for Life Helicopter, which set down on the hospital landing zone next to the facilities three ambulances". She is also proud of getting the Department "Quality Respiratory Care Recognition" from AARC, for 2007, 2008 and 2009.
