Dr. Lebowitz is one of the original six founding partners of the Concorde Medical Group. In addition to starting a private practice in July of 1970, Dr. Lebowitz has held a variety of positions including Director, Medical Methadone Program, Bellevue Hospital, from 1970 to 1972, Floor Attending at Goldwater Memorial Hospital from 1970 to 1971 and Consultant, Infectious Diseases at NYU Tisch Hospital from 1970 to 2000. Dr. Lebowitz has served on many committees of the NYU Hospital Medical Board including service as the Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for 12 years. He currently holds the faculty rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine. In 2007, reacting to the increasingly difficult environment for delivering personalized high-intensity medical care, Dr Lebowitz founded Manhattan Private Health Advantage, a retainer-based model of an Internal Medicine practice. |
