Dr. Katz worked with Scholastic Magazine as a Curriculum Designer in 1973 and as a Hotline Supervisor with Coats & Clarke, Inc., both of New York, from 1973-1974. From 1975 to 1980, Dr. Katz was the Coordinator of Program Development & Training, Consumer Affairs with Consolidated Edison of New York, continuing as Senior Specialist of Energy Services from 1980 to 1997. Since 2003, Dr. Katz has been the President/Partner of Mentor Talk, Inc. of New York, becoming President/Owner in 2009. She has taught since 1956. Her most recent teaching experiences include being an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Queens College, City University of New York in 2003 and a Visiting Professor at Brigham Young University from 2000 to 2001. |

Dr. Katz has received numerous awards and citations from professional organizations and universities. In 2002, she and her colleague, Dr. Maxine Rowley, founded an educational services company specializing in coaching individuals and organizational groups in career building. Dr. Katz used her educational skills in the classroom at the secondary and college level, but also in the business world, designing educational materials and conducting workshops and seminars. She also hosted her own radio program on energy and has addressed young adults, graduate students and women’s groups on career management. |
