Work History: Mr. Stern is experienced in all aspects of real estate development. He founded Stern Holdings in 1988, which is an umbrella company encompassing real estate development, Fitnation Brands, and WonderWheel Entertainment, a film and TV production company. In 2008, he founded a restaurant business, Double Helix Wine and Restaurant Group (dhx.world). Mr. Stern co-founded a successful in-home fitness equipment company, called Fitnation, in 2015.
Career Accomplishments: Mr. Stern is proud of the fact that in 1994, he developed Grizzly Park in West Yellowstone, Montana (Grizzly Discovery Center and IMAX Theater). He co-developed the Yellowstone IMAX Film. In 1997, he co-produced the IMAX film "Amazon," for which he was nominated for an academy award in the Best Documentary category, in 1998. Today, the film remains in the top 10 IMAX documentary films. In 2002 he co-developed the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, Miami. In 2005, Mr. Stern developed Loft 5 of Las Vegas, which was one of the first loft style apartment complexes there. In 2006, he purchased over 16,000 hectares in the Waterberg Mountains, South Africa to develop a multifaceted project including a hotel, game and safari lounge, homes, and a golf course. In 2008, Double Helix Wine and Restaurant Group was launched at the Palazzo Hotel of Las Vegas. In 2015, Fitnation fitness equipment was launched on QVC, and in 2019, he started WonderWheel Entertainment.
